Sarah was introduced to Yoga and meditation at a very young age. Her practice and study of Yoga however deepened in the beginning of 2012, trying everything from Hatha to Vinyasa, to Ashtanga, to lyengar, along with the practice of Pranayamas. The word “yoga” comes from the Sanskrit root “yuj”, which means “to join” the spirit and physical body together. It can be modified to suit all levels of fitness. Yoga energizes our bodies and calms our minds. This practice includes yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation.
