Ajay Devgn is set to return to the director’s chair, with Akshay Kumar taking on the lead role in his forthcoming film. This exciting announcement was made by Ajay during the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 on November 16, generating considerable excitement among fans. Ajay remarked, “This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We’re already working on something together where I’m directing the film, and he’s in the film.” When pressed for further details about the project, Akshay humorously suggested, “Should I just send the script?” to which Ajay replied, “It’s a little too early, we will talk about it.” The collaboration between Ajay and Akshay dates back to their first film together, ‘Suhaag,’ which was a major success in 1994, and they have since appeared in several films, including ‘Khakee’ (2004) and ‘Insan’ (2005), as well as in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe films like ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2021). Currently, both actors are featured in ‘Singham Again.’
