Because of this, leaders from both the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) are holding intense campaigns today. The Bihar Assembly has 243 constituencies, and voting will take place in two phases — on November 6 and November 11. Campaigning ends at 5 PM today for the 121 constituencies in 18 districts that will vote in the first phase on November 6. As the campaign period comes to a close, both alliances are making their final efforts to attract voters.
