Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is set to release in theatres on March 19, 2026. Due to high excitement, the makers arranged paid preview shows on March 18 from 5 PM in many cinemas. However, before the release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) made several changes to the film. The movie, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, has now been given an ‘A’ certificate. The board asked for 21 cuts and modifications, mainly removing some violent scenes and muting abusive words. After these changes, the film’s final runtime is 3 hours, 49 minutes, and 6 seconds. Some intense scenes were shortened or removed, including violent moments like hitting with a hammer, cement blocks, and a few disturbing visuals. A few dialogues were also edited, with certain words muted or replaced, though no full list was shared. The board also asked for corrections in subtitles related to a historical reference and a city name. In addition, the makers added disclaimers about drugs and disturbing content, and included chapter titles in Hindi. After all the edits, about 1 minute and 34 seconds of footage was removed. The sequel is now just 15 minutes longer than the first part.
