US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, saying that if Iran attacks once, the United States will respond with 20 strikes in return. His remarks come amid rising tensions over Iran’s alleged attacks on ships near the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Following the collapse of peace negotiations, the United States has intensified its military operations against Iran. Trump shared an image on social media showing the aftermath of a bombing in Iran and described it as retaliation for attacks on ships allegedly carried out by Iran a day earlier.”This was our response to Iran’s attack on ships yesterday. If it happens again, the situation will become much worse,” Trump wrote in his post.Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One after attending the NATO summit, Trump said the United States had carried out a very strong response. He claimed that the American retaliation was “20 times stronger” than the attacks allegedly launched by Iran.”Whenever they attack us, we will respond with a force 20 times greater,” Trump said.

Meanwhile, Iran rejected the US warnings and vowed to retaliate if attacked. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that any military action by the United States would be met with a response from Iran and urged Washington not to deepen the conflict. He also stated that the Strait of Hormuz would not yield to American pressure and would remain under Iran’s strategic control and decisions.
