Iran send a Pakistani man to try and assassinate former US president Donald Trump on Tuesday.The US justice department charged a Pakistani man with alleged ties to Iran in connection with the failed plaw to assassinate American politicians and officials.
The Pakistani man arrested is accused of attempting to hire a hitman in New York to kill prominent American officials, Trump is one of them.
Asuk Merchant was caught in July and currently jailed in New York.
It is necessary to point out that this plan is not related to the assassination attempt on Donald Trump that occurred last month in Pennsylvania.
Former President Trump clearly ordered the drone strike on Iran, when he ordered the drone strike death of Iranian Major General Qassem Soleimani was killed in the attack.
Trump and officials, including his previous Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, have suffered threats since 2020 from Iran.
