The Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has stated that the export of electronic goods from India has increased eightfold over the past eleven years. Speaking at the 14th convocation ceremony of IIT Hyderabad, the Union Minister for Railways, Information Broadcasting, Electronics, and Information Technology, Vaishnaw, emphasized that the production and export of electronic goods in India are exceptionally strong. Domestic production has increased sixfold over the last eleven years. Similarly, exports have risen eightfold. The export value has surpassed 40 billion dollars. This growth is unprecedented compared to similar countries to India.In the realm of commerce, the first semiconductor chip produced in India is set to be launched this year. India has been focusing significantly on the essential equipment required for semiconductor chip manufacturing. In the coming years, India is poised to emerge as one of the top five semiconductor nations in the world. The country is making strides towards this goal. Over the next three and a half years, India will design a comprehensive 4G telecommunications network. Additionally, the bullet train project in India is progressing rapidly. It has been stated that the bullet train will commence operations in India by August or September of 2027.
