On June 5, American NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams of Indian origin began their mission to the International Space Station.

Their travel was often postponed for various technical reasons. Finally they left on June 5th for the International Space Station through Boeing’s Starliner spaceship and arrived space station on June 6th.

It was only an 8-10 day plan. However, it has now been extended for another eight months, which shocked many.

Their trip was extended due to a helium leak discovered in the Boeing Starliner spacecraft. However, NASA said that the spacecraft is successfully operating in Earth orbit while linked to the International Space Station.

Now, the globe waits to see when they will return to Earth.

According to reports, they will return to Earth in February of next year.

If the present Boeing Starliner spacecraft can be considered unfit for return to Earth, they will be moved to the SpaceX Crew Dragon spaceship, which will return to Earth in February.

It is important to point out that SpaceX is Elon Musk’s company.

The International Space Station has a total of nine astronauts. In addition, the space center has sufficient food and supplies for them. It is said that they will shortly return safely to Earth.

Sunitha Williams travelled her third space trip. It is worth noting that he has already spent over 300 days in space.
