Iran’s retaliatory attack has severely damaged an Israeli scientific research center.

A significant conflict has erupted between Iran and Israel, during which Iranian missiles have severely targeted the Weizmann Institute of Science and Physics located in Rehovot, Israel. The Weizmann Research Center, referred to as the ‘crown jewel of science’ in Israel, has been heavily struck by Iranian missiles.On Sunday morning, while there were no fatalities in the assault on the Weissman Institute of Science, it inflicted considerable damage on several laboratories at the research facility. Additionally, it has undermine d years of scientific inquiry and conveyed a threatening message to Israeli researchers. Iran is currently focusing on Israeli scientists and their specialized knowledge.  “This is a moral victory for Iran,” stated Professor Oran Shuldiner from the Department of Molecular Cell Biology and the Department of Molecular Neuroscience at the research institute. Furthermore, he remarked, “The laboratory in Israel was destroyed during the attack. Iran has managed to inflict damage on the crown jewel of Israeli science. All our research has come to a halt. It will take many years to rebuild the scientific work in this institution and to return to a normal path. This is a significant loss for the science we could produce and the contributions we could make to the world.” For many years, Israel has been targeting Iranian nuclear scientists. Israel believes that by targeting Iran’s nuclear scientists, it can hinder the progress of that country’s nuclear energy program.
