The ongoing war between Iran and the United States–Israel alliance has now reached its 26th day. Due to the conflict, Iran has blocked the Strait of Hormuz, causing a rise in global crude oil prices. This situation has created pressure both internationally and within the United States for former President Donald Trump. Amid this tension, Trump claimed that talks with Iran were ongoing, but Iran strongly denied this, calling it false information. Meanwhile, international media reported that the U.S., through Pakistan, had sent a 15-point ceasefire proposal to Iran. According to unnamed Pakistani officials, the proposal includes reducing Iran’s nuclear program, easing economic sanctions, allowing international nuclear monitoring, cutting missile production, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. However, Iran rejected the proposal, stating it was exaggerated and not acceptable. Iranian officials said the country would end the war only on its own terms, including compensation for damages, respect for its sovereignty, and no interference in its control over the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, the conflict continues to escalate, with Israel launching major airstrikes on Iranian cities like Tehran, and Iran responding with missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and nearby Gulf countries.
