Iran’s military has reportedly announced a cash reward of $30,000 for anyone who kills or captures a US military soldier. The announcement comes amid growing tensions and ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel.According to the announcement, a person who successfully kills or captures a US soldier would receive a basic reward of $30,000. If an Iranian woman carries out the act, the reward would reportedly be doubled to $60,000. Iranian Major General Amir Hatami said the decision followed demands from millions of Iranian citizens who wanted to take part in the conflict against the United States. However, despite the announcement, there are currently no large-scale deployments of US ground troops inside Iranian territory. The reported reward is therefore being announced amid the wider military tensions between the countries.
