Black Box Recovered in Maharashtra Plane Crash

Five people, including Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, died in a plane crash in Maharashtra. After the accident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis wrote a letter to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry. He asked for a high-level investigation to find the exact cause of the crash and requested steps to prevent such accidents in the future. Replying to this letter, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has already started the investigation. Teams from AAIB and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) have visited the crash site and conducted inspections. The aircraft’s black box has been recovered and sent for analysis.

The minister said the investigation will be conducted in a transparent manner. All aspects, including technical data, aircraft movement, and the crash location, will be carefully examined. He assured that the government will study Maharashtra’s request seriously and take necessary preventive measures. The minister also stressed that full cooperation from the Maharashtra state government is essential for a quick investigation. He said the local administration must support the investigation teams completely. According to officials, the Lear jet 45 aircraft carrying Ajit Pawar met with the accident. AAIB officers from Delhi and Mumbai visited the crash site. The Civil Aviation Ministry confirmed that the investigation is progressing quickly, and the cause of the crash will be known after the black box data is analyzed.
