Canada Post has unveiled its special 2025 Diwali postage stamp, continuing a tradition it began in 2017 to celebrate the Festival of Lights. This year’s stamp was designed by Indian-origin artist Rittu Kanal and beautifully captures the essence of Diwali with a colorful rangoli design, symbolizing joy and togetherness. The word “Diwali” is featured prominently in both Hindi and English, reflecting Canada’s multicultural spirit. Since its introduction, the Diwali stamp series has been praised for recognizing the country’s diverse communities and for promoting cross-cultural appreciation. The new stamp is now available for collectors and the public through Canada Post offices and online ahead of Diwali celebrations across the nation.
