The Cricket Association for the Blind in the USA (CABUSA) and Samarthanam USA have partnered with eClinicalWorks to support the first-ever USA Women’s Blind Cricket Team. eClinicalWorks is the official team sponsor as the squad prepares for the 2025 Women’s T20 World Cup for the Blind, taking place in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Colombo. The 16-member team is currently training in India, and despite being newly formed, they have already shown strong progress, even winning their first practice match. Leaders from Samarthanam and eClinicalWorks expressed pride in this partnership, highlighting its importance in promoting inclusion, courage, and empowerment through sports.
This movement, which started as a dream, has now reached more than 1,000 visually impaired individuals across the USA, helping change perceptions of disability and sports. CABUSA, Samarthanam, and CABI, along with the Sri Lanka Cricket Association for the Visually Handicapped, are organizing the World Cup, featuring six countries: Australia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and the USA. Team leaders and sponsors shared gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead, emphasizing teamwork, resilience, and the opportunity for visually impaired women to shine on the world stage.
