At the rally, Musk warned of a future where Americans’ rights are threatened, stating, “The opposing side seeks to strip away your freedom of speech… your right to bear arms… your right to vote, in essence.” In August, Trump and Musk engaged in a detailed public dialogue on X, during which Musk suggested the formation of a “government efficiency commission” should Trump secure re-election.
