Only non-chemical Ganesha idols should be placed in it and prior approval should be obtained .
To seek permission from Assistant Commissioner of Police, RTO, Deputy Collector.
To place loudspeakers, banners and flags, proper permission should be obtained from the police inspectors.
The circular said that slogans shouldn’t raised to hurt the sentiments of people of other religions.
Fire crackers should also be avoided during Ganesha procession.
Ganesha idols should be transported only through lorry or tractor and no bullock cart or three wheelers are allowed to carry them, strictly mentioned in the circular announcement by Tamil Nadu department of police.
