Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is poised to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4, the newest chapter in the beloved superhero series. This film will be produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in partnership with seasoned director Rakesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan took to social media to announce this exciting development, sharing a touching message for his son. He stated, “Duggu, 25 years ago, I introduced you as an actor, and now, after a quarter of a century, you are embarking on your journey as a director. Aditya Chopra and I are thrilled to support you in this new venture.” He also mentioned that it was Aditya Chopra who encouraged Hrithik to embrace the role of director. Having been the face of the Krrish franchise since its beginning, Hrithik will not only direct but also reprise his role in the film. The Krrish series commenced with Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003, followed by Krrish in 2006 and Krrish 3 in 2013, establishing itself as India’s first significant superhero franchise.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans and Hrithik’s loved ones, with his girlfriend Saba Azad expressing her happiness and sister Sunaina Roshan referring to it as a “proud milestone.” Rakesh Roshan conveyed his optimism about the project, describing it as a “rare and creatively thrilling collaboration” between Hrithik and Aditya Chopra in their respective roles as director and producer.
