Teaching robots no longer needs complex coding or remote controls, as shown by a new demonstration from Israel-based startup Mentee Robotics. The company released a video of its humanoid robot, Menteebot, responding to a simple voice command to bring a can of Coke. The robot understood the request, scanned its surroundings using onboard cameras, identified the correct item, and carried it back smoothly without any human assistance. The video also explains how the robot plans its actions step by step, showing how advanced artificial intelligence helps it make decisions on its own. On the same day, Israeli autonomous driving company Mobileye announced it would acquire Mentee Robotics, signaling a major step toward expanding humanoid robots and autonomous systems worldwide. The latest Menteebot V3 combines speech understanding, visual recognition, navigation, and object handling into one coordinated system. Experts say this technology could be useful in homes, offices, warehouses, and healthcare settings, where robots can assist people with everyday tasks. By allowing robots to learn through simple instructions, Mentee aims to make human-robot collaboration easier and more accessible, even for people without technical skills.
