The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has planned to implement the Gaganyaan project in the year 2027. The objective of this initiative is to send humans into space and safely return them to Earth. In 2022, the American company SpaceX, in collaboration with Axiom Space, sent a spacecraft to the International Space Station. This marked the world’s first private spacecraft. In this context, a fourth spacecraft, named Axiom 4, is scheduled to be launched.According to this, a launch was scheduled today for the Dragon spacecraft via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. However, it has been postponed to Wednesday due to weather conditions. Four individuals will be traveling on this spacecraft, including one each from the USA, India, Poland, and Hungary. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) astronaut Subanshu Sukla, aged 39, will serve as the pilot. NASA has indicated that this spacecraft will reach the International Space Station after a journey of 28 hours. It is reported that they will stay there for 14 days.The honor of being the first Indian to reach space has been bestowed upon him. After 41 years, he is set to achieve the remarkable feat of becoming the first Indian in space, a milestone accomplished by Subanshu Sukla. Hailing from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, Subanshu Sukla joined the Indian Air Force in 2006. In 2024, he will assume the role of group captain. In this context, he was selected in 2019 for ISRO’s Gaganyaan mission. For this purpose, he underwent specialized training at Russia’s Yuri Gagarin Space Center.
