Iran has announced the reopening of its airspace, which had been closed due to the war with Israel. The airspace was shut down on June 13 due to the conflict with Israel. In a statement released by Iran’s official news agency IRNA, it was mentioned that ‘the Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini international airports in Tehran, as well as all airports in the northern, eastern, western, and southern regions of Iran, have been reopened. Furthermore, all flights in Iran are fully prepared to operate.’Following this, officials from Iran’s aviation authority announced that domestic and international flights will operate from all airports across the country, except for those in Isfahan and Tabriz, from 5 AM to 6 PM. The IRNA reported that flights from Isfahan and Tabriz will resume once the infrastructure work is completed. On June 13 of the previous month, following the commencement of the aerial assault by Israel, Iran completely closed its airspace. Subsequently, a ceasefire was implemented between the two nations on June 24.
