Iran has shut down internet services across the country as protests against the ruling government continue to intensify. The move comes after Iran’s justice and security authorities issued warnings to protesters. Large numbers of protesters have gathered in the capital city, Tehran, and nearby areas, prompting the government to take strict action. Students and young people are leading the protests, raising slogans against Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. At the same time, Iran has warned the United States and Israel that it will respond strongly if attacked. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, made these remarks while speaking in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. He stated that Iran does not want a war with Israel or the United States.  However, Iran warned that if its country is attacked again, similar to the incidents in 2025, it will give a strong response. The foreign minister also said Iran is open to discussions with the United States regarding its nuclear program. He added that Iran prefers dialogue and mutual respect through negotiations. With concerns that Israel may carry out another attack similar to June 2025, Iran has once again issued a clear warning.
