King Charles of Britain recently made a private visit to Bengaluru, where he resided at a large integrative medical facility, as reported by sources on Wednesday. Accompanied by Queen Camilla, the couple spent three days at this renowned holistic health center, which is celebrated for its rejuvenative treatments that encompass yoga, meditation, and various therapies. According to an official, the royal couple, who have previously visited this facility, engaged in several wellness treatments, including Ayurveda and Naturopathy, and incorporated yoga into their morning routine.
The couple adhered to a special diet as part of their wellness regimen, which also featured meditation and therapeutic practices. They took pleasure in long walks throughout the expansive 30-acre campus and visited an organic farm during their stay. After three days at the facility, they departed the city this morning. This visit was not King Charles’s first to the ‘SOUKYA’ International Holistic Centre located in Samethanahalli, near Whitefield; he previously celebrated his 71st birthday there in 2019. The center is operated by Dr. Issac Mathai, one of the few individuals from India invited to attend the King’s coronation. King Charles has consistently advocated for Ayurveda, having joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a visit to the UK in April 2018 to inaugurate a new Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence at the Science Museum in London, which aims to establish a global network for evidence-based research on yoga and Ayurveda.
