The strikes on all nine designated targets were executed successfully, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi closely overseeing the operation throughout the night. Previously, the Ministry of Defence had declared that India initiated precise strikes against nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure. The identified targets within Pakistan included Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Sialkot. Special precision munitions were employed to strike the terrorist camps, and the operation was conducted collaboratively by the three armed services, which involved the mobilization of assets and troops. According to officials, the strikes effectively targeted terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and PoK, from which attacks against India have been orchestrated. Earlier, the Indian Armed Forces commenced ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as stated by the Ministry of Defence. The ministry emphasized that the actions taken were focused, measured, and non-escalatory, clarifying that no Pakistani military facilities were involved. India has shown significant restraint in its choice of targets and execution methods. This operation was a direct response to the heinous terrorist attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen. A comprehensive briefing on ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’ is scheduled for later today, while the Indian Army remarked on X, ‘Justice is served. Jai Hind!’
