The continuous protest from the opposition parties has led to the adjournment of the Rajya Sabha until 12 PM and the Lok Sabha until 2 PM. The opposition has engaged in protests after their notice to discuss issues such as the Trump tax policy and the revision of the voter list was denied. The monsoon session of Parliament commenced on the 21st of July. Opposition parties, including the Congress, have been actively protesting in Parliament, demanding discussions on issues such as the palgram terrorist attack and the Operation sindoor controversy. As a result, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha have been stalled. Following this, the central government has proposed a discussion on Operation sindoor. In this context, today (July 31), as the Lok Sabha convened, opposition MPs engaged in a vigorous protest demanding discussions on American tax regulations and the revision of the voter list.

Despite multiple warnings from the Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, the opposition MPs continued their intense demonstrations. The protesting members were urged to cease their chants and return to their seats. He questioned whether the protesting members did not wish to discuss the issues at hand, and further asked if the public had elected them to the assembly merely to shout slogans. The Speaker, Om Birla, stated that the assembly is meant for discussing issues, and he deemed the behavior of the members inappropriate, leading him to adjourn the session.Similarly, the opposition parties have postponed the Rajya Sabha session until 2 PM due to the uproar. The Parliament remains in a state of deadlock. Earlier, when they convened, the Parliament commended the scientists for successfully launching the GSLV rocket, which was used to position the Earth observation satellite developed in collaboration with ISRO and NASA.
