The world gets ready for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

India expects another outstanding performance from its para-athletes.

The Paralympics, scheduled for August 28 to September 8, 2024, it is set to be a celebration of bravery, determination, and athletic brilliance.

This event is very important to India because the country’s para-athletes continue to set new standards on the international stage.

India is being represented at the Paris games by 84 para-athletes, 32 of them are women.

This year’s event marks a notable milestone for India, as it debuts in three new sports like para-cycling, para-rowing, and blind judo.

Following these new additions of games India will be competing in a total of 12 events.

where there are 22 sports events categories available in the para olympics.

India open its medal count with Avani Lekhara won gold and Mona Agarwal won bronze medal in the 10m Air Rifle category.

India’s continue winning streak starts, Manish Narwal  won a silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol category.

Additionally, Preethi Pal won bronze medal in the Women’s 100m running event.

India has won 4 medals in a row in the single day.

With these medals, India is at the 9th position in the medal tally with 4 medals which is  1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.
