Badminton champion PV Sindhu has officially announced her engagement to Venkata Datta Sai, a technology executive based in Hyderabad. The two-time Olympic medalist delighted her followers by sharing a cheerful image on social media, which captured the couple exchanging rings and enjoying a lighthearted moment together. The post garnered significant attention, quickly going viral as fans inundated it with messages of congratulations. PV Sindhu is scheduled to wed Datta Sai, who is the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, on December 22 in Udaipur.
The wedding celebrations are set to commence on December 20, with a reception planned in Hyderabad for December 24. As per PV Sindhu’s father, PV Ramana, the engagement was arranged between the two families, who have maintained a longstanding acquaintance. Datta Sai, who holds a Master’s degree from the International Institute of Information Technology in Bangalore, has also previously held a managerial position with the IPL team Delhi Capitals. With the badminton season approaching, PV Sindhu is anticipated to resume her training shortly after the wedding festivities.
