Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to begin a two-day visit to the United States on April 20, during which he will interact with the academic community at Brown University. According to Congress officials, Gandhi will speak to faculty and students, engaging in discussions and delivering a lecture. Alongside his academic activities, his itinerary will also feature meetings with the Indian American community and members of the Indian Overseas Congress, with the objective of reinforcing connections with the Indian diaspora in the United States. This upcoming visit follows Gandhi’s earlier trip to the US in September 2024, where he addressed students and scholars at the University of Texas and engaged with the Indian community in both Texas and Washington, D.C.
