If Pakistan is ready to peace making negotiations, Rajnath Singh has emphasized the need to hand over terrorists such as Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India.  Speaking at an event today (May 30) on the INS Vikrant, India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, at the Goa coastline, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated, “The Indian Navy’s peaceful service during Operation Sindhur deserves commendation. It ensured that the Pakistan Navy did not venture out. If Pakistan attempts to act with malicious intent, the central government will respond through the Indian Navy. The Operation Sindhur initiative is not merely a military action but a direct assault by India against terrorism. Since gaining independence, Pakistan has reached a critical juncture where it must recognize that the terrorism it has been perpetuating is a dangerous game. If Pakistan engages in any terrorist activities against India now, it will have to face the consequences and confront failure. India will not hesitate to uproot the threat of terrorism. It will employ all possible means to do so. Actions against India are being openly carried out from Pakistani soil. India will take all necessary measures against terrorists with complete freedom. The world today acknowledges India’s right to protect its citizens from terrorism. Pakistan must take decisive action to eliminate the terrorism operating from its territory.
