SRM UNIVERSITY, a popular private university located in Potheri, near Guduvanchery in the Chengalpattu district.
This university campuses, includes engineering college, medical College and diploma degrees are functioning.
Today morning, More than 1000 police officers have suddenly arrived on the campus of SRM university.
And they have started raids on the male and female hostels, as well as the area surrounded the college.
Students from many neighbouring states, such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala students were studying in the college.
As well as students from different countries like Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka were also study here.
In the present scenario, more than 1000 police officers were unexpectedly arrived on the campus of the college very early in the morning.
According to reports, the raid is taking place in hostels and, college area because there is a large amount of weed consumption in existence among students.
After arrival of police in college campus which causes the area to become seriously rousing.
The raids subsequently took place at the private college and many other nearby places of college.
After this, raids were conducted in the surrounding houses of the private college.
A search was also carried out on the persons living in the flats and what they were carrying if they owned a two-wheeler.
