Sydney Beach a Hero Ahmad Praised by PM Anthony

On Sunday, a Jewish community event was taking place at the beach when two unknown men suddenly opened fire on the crowd. The attackers shot people randomly, and tragically, 12 people, including children, were killed on the spot. During the shooting, a brave man acted without fear and confronted one of the attackers directly. Even though he was unarmed, he ran towards the gunman, hiding behind cars in the parking area, and at the right moment, managed to grab the gun and stop the attacker. A 15-minute video of this heroic act has gone viral on social media. The brave man has been identified as 43-year-old Ahmad Al Ahmad. While on his morning walk, Ahmad saw the shooting happening and immediately jumped into action, stopping the attacker without hesitation. During the incident, Ahmad was also injured by two gunshots. He was taken to the hospital for surgery, and doctors have confirmed that his condition is now stable. Ahmad’s courage in risking his life to save others has been widely praised around the world. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese personally met him in the hospital to check on his health and commend his bravery.
