US President Donald Trump has introduced a new “Gold Card Visa” worth 1 million dollars. This special visa allows American companies to retain skilled foreign workers. The US already offers many types of work visas, the most important being the H1B visa, which is most commonly used by Indians. People who work in the US on such visas can later apply for permanent residency, known as a Green Card. Now, with the launch of the Gold Card Visa, foreigners can live and work permanently in the US by donating 1 million dollars to the American government. According to President Trump, the Gold Card Visa is similar to a Green Card but offers greater benefits. Once the processing fee is paid, the application review and approval process takes a few weeks. Applicants must attend a visa interview and respond quickly to document requests. Gold Card Visa holders will be taxed just like permanent US residents. Applications can be submitted through the official website: http://trumpcard.gov. Like any other visa, the Gold Card Visa can be cancelled if the holder is involved in security issues or criminal activities. Spouses and unmarried children under 21 can also be included in the application. Each additional applicant must pay a processing fee of 15,000 dollars, along with the mandatory 1 million dollar donation to obtain the visa.
