President Donald Trump has an excellent relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and he will continue to maintain that.” In response to another question from ANI regarding the trade agreement between India and the United States, a White House spokesperson stated, “The President mentioned last week that the United States and India are very close to a trade agreement. That is indeed true. I just spoke with our Trade Secretary about this matter. He was with the President in the Oval Office. They are working on finalizing these agreements. You will hear an announcement regarding this very soon from the President and his trade team.”
