The United States is considering a new bill that could sharply increase import taxes on goods from countries that buy crude oil from Russia. Senators Lindsey Graham and Democrat Richard Blumenthal jointly drafted the bill, arguing that stronger economic pressure is needed because Russian President Vladimir Putin continues military actions.
