A cargo ship carrying four Indian crew members was attacked at a port in Ukraine. Two Indian nationals have been rescued, while two others are still missing.
Since the Russia-Ukraine war began in 2022, the security situation in the Black Sea and nearby waters has remained tense. Commercial ships operating in the region have faced attacks involving drones and missiles.
As part of the latest incident, the commercial vessel AGN Ragnar was at the Odesa port, one of Ukraine’s major Black Sea ports. The ship was carrying four Indian crew members when it came under a missile attack.
Following the attack, two Indian crew members were safely rescued, while the whereabouts of the other two remain unknown. Search and rescue efforts are expected to continue.
