Iran carried out missile attacks on US military bases in West Asia and Israel using its powerful Sejjil missiles. The Sejjil missile is often described as a “dancing missile” because it can change its path during flight and avoid enemy missile defense systems. Even if anti-missile weapons are launched to stop it, the Sejjil can alter its direction and continue moving toward its target. Because of this advanced maneuvering ability, it is very difficult for defense systems to intercept and destroy the missile. The Sejjil missile can carry up to 1,000 kilograms of explosives and strike enemy targets with high impact. It is completely developed and produced in Iran and has a strike range of more than 2,000 kilometers. The missile uses solid fuel, which allows it to be launched quickly from mobile launch platforms. The Sejjil missile is about 60 feet tall and weighs around 23 tons, making it one of Iran’s most powerful long-range missiles.
