A 23-year-old Indian student from Andhra Pradesh was found dead in her apartment in Texas, United States, leaving her family and friends in deep sorrow. The deceased, identified as Rajyalakshmi (Raji) Yarlagadda, had recently graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and was actively looking for a job in the US. According to reports, Raji passed away on November 7, 2025. Her cousin, Chaitanya YVK, stated that she had been suffering from a severe cough and chest pain for two to three days before her death. “Tragically, on the morning of November 7, Raji did not wake up when her alarm went off. Later, her friends discovered she had passed away in her sleep,” he said. A medical examination is currently underway in the US to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, Chaitanya has launched a GoFundMe fundraiser from Denton, Texas, to support Yarlagadda’s grieving family in Andhra Pradesh. In his appeal, he shared that Raji came to the US with dreams of supporting her farmer parents in Karmechedu village, Bapatla district. The fundraiser aims to collect funds for funeral arrangements, transporting her body to India, repaying student loans, and supporting her parents during this difficult time.
