Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has announced that the Afghan army has captured Pakistani military tanks.  In a post on social media platform X, he stated:  “Afghan forces gave a strong response to the firing carried out by Pakistani troops along the border. Many Pakistani soldiers were killed in the clashes. The Afghan army seized Pakistan’s military tanks and weapons and destroyed several of Pakistan’s military installations.” Before both countries agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire, videos surfaced on social media showing military tanks said to have been captured from Pakistan parading through the streets of Spin Boldak province in southeastern Afghanistan. However, Pakistan denied these claims, saying the tanks seen in the videos do not belong to Pakistani’s military.
