Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to take part in the upcoming high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and deliver an address on September 26. This event marks a significant occasion for the UN, celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. The theme for the General Assembly is “Better Together: 80 Years and More for Peace, Development and Human Rights”. On September 22, a high-level meeting will take place to honor the 80th anniversary. The regular high-level sessions will commence the following day, beginning with the traditional first address by Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, followed by President Donald Trump.
