The Indian team, led by captain Zahoor Ahmad and snow artist Suhail Mohammad Khan, showcased their talents alongside international participants, all of whom presented elaborate snow sculptures. The team’s creation consisted of three hollow, ring-like forms, each adorned with faces that emerged from the front. Zahoor Ahmad conveyed his profound pride in their accomplishment, reminiscing about the obstacles encountered while competing at such a prestigious level. He remarked on their participation in two significant championships this year, one in Minnesota and another in Colorado, highlighting the latter’s particularly high standard of artistry among global competitors. Despite the fierce competition, he emphasized their commitment and effort, stating, “It is an honor to win the third prize.”

He advocated for hosting similar events in India, particularly in regions like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam, suggesting that such initiatives would enhance tourism and elevate local talent. He urged the government to support and organize national competitions to inspire emerging artists. Suhail Mohammad Khan, a deaf and mute snow artist, was instrumental in the team’s success. Through a team member, he conveyed his pride in their achievement, stating, “I am deeply proud of our achievement. For the past two years, I have represented India in the International Snow Sculpture Championship in Colorado.
