Launching Rhumi-1 Reusable Rocket:
The ‘Rhumi-1’, India’s first reusable hybrid rocket, launched successfully.
Rocket launched without any problems on Saturday, August 24 at 7.30 a.m. from Thiruvidanthai village on East Coast Road in Chennai.
Mylaswamy Annadurai, former ISRO director, supervises the project.
Manufacturer of Rhumi-1:
‘Space Zone India’, a Chennai-based private start-up, and Martin Group worked together to develop the ‘Rhumi-1’ rocket.
According to Space Zone, launching satellites with reusable rockets will save money and have a lesser effect on the environment.
It placed the satellites in orbit around the Earth and safely returned to Earth in 7 minutes, reports Space Zone.
Working of Rhumi-1:
Former ISRO Chairman Mylaswamy Annadurai stated that, Normally, the life of the rocket ends once the satellites are launched in a particular orbit.
Consequently, the next step in rocket technology is to create rockets that can launch satellites and come back to Earth, which is Reusable.
Dr. Anand Meghalingam, CEO of Space Zone India says that After launching the three satellites at a specific distance.
Also the rocket would come back to Earth with the help of parachute.
That rocket can be recycled. It’s also beneficial for the environment.
Former ISRO chairman Mylaswamy Annadurai expressed his appreciation for Rhumi-1 .
“I am proud to see that ‘Rhumi-1’ has set new standards in India’s exploration of space efforts.”
America, Russia, and China have developed reusable rockets to launch humans into space and safely return them to Earth.
India is attempting to launch humans into space by using recyclable rocket technology, following these three countries in the global space business.
And a lot of these projects will be executed in the future.
