Anna University: Lifetime Ban Imposed on 900 Fraudulent Professors

Anna University has been declared that an action was taken,  lifetime ban for 900 fraudulent professors.

A private organization has shown that professors were illegally appointed at Anna University’s affiliated engineering colleges.

As a result, Anna University took this issue severely.

It examined the professors  information and gathered information about individuals who had fraudulently joined.

As the issue developed, a three-member committee was formed to investigate it.The committee is about to submit its report.

Meanwhile, signs indicate that major decisions on this matter were made during the Anna University Syndicate meeting.

R Velraj, the vice chancellor of Anna University says, The colleges also need to explain why they had submitted fake Aadhaar and PAN cards to professors from the university during the annual inspection.

According to sources, the decision was carried out based on the demand of Governor R N Ravi who also serves as the university’s Chancellor.

After learning of the irregularity, the governor requested a full report on the situation.

As a result, the university presented its initial investigative report.

According to reports, a decision has been made to begin criminal action against 295 private engineering colleges.

Accused of being involved in the matter of fraudulent professors, as well as lifetime ban to around 900 professors.

These are declared and accepted by Anna University syndicate members in meeting.
