Israel has announced the killing of Ali Shatmani, a close associate of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and the commander of Iran’s wartime headquarters, in an attack carried out in Tehran.The Israeli Defense Forces reported that they have eliminated the newly appointed high-ranking military commander Ali Shatmani in Iran. In a statement released by the Israeli Defense Forces, it was tweeted, “Ali Shatmani, the commander of Iran’s wartime headquarters and a senior military leader of the regime, was killed in an IAF strike in central Tehran, following precise intelligence information.” The commander of Iran during the war, Ali Shadmani, served as the emergency commander of the Iranian armed forces. He held command over both the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian military. As the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate into its fifth day, the Israeli military has warned of newly launched missiles from Iran today (Tuesday).As a result of missile and drone attacks, the death toll between Iran and Israel is steadily rising. In Iran, 224 individuals have been reported killed, with over 1,200 injured. In Israel, 24 people have lost their lives due to retaliatory strikes from Iran, and 592 have sustained injuries.
