In France, President Emmanuel Macron has announced that regulations will soon be implemented to prevent children under the age of 15 from using social media platforms. In a television interview regarding this matter, President Macron stated that the number of children in France using social media on their mobile phones is increasing day by day. As a result, children are heading down a wrong path. Furthermore, they are also getting involved in violent activities. It is evident that while children are supposed to be the human resources of our nation, their engagement with social media is leading to their deterioration and destruction. I have lodged a complaint with the European Union seeking a ban on the use of social media by individuals under the age of 15. I trust that the European Union will make a decision regarding this matter. If they do not grant approval, it has been indicated that a permanent ban on social media usage for those under 15 years old will be implemented in France within a few months. It is noteworthy that last year, a ban was imposed in Australia on social media usage for individuals under the age of 16.
