Shikhar Dhawan, an Indian cricketer, announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket through a video posted on his X site.
Shikhar Dhawan, 38, is the Indian cricket team’s opening batsman. In 2010, he made his international debut in a one-day series against Australia.
Following that, an outstanding performance secured him a spot in both the T20 and Test teams.
He has played 167 One-Day Internationals, 68 Twenty20 Internationals, and 34 Tests for India.
In IPL Dhawan played for Punjab Last season, previously representing Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
But in recent years, he hasn’t been given a spot in the Indian team. Shikhar Dhawan, who was only playing in the IPL, announced today that he will be taking a complete retirement from cricket.
Many of his supporters became shocked by Shikhar Dhawan’s announcement.
Shikhar Dhawan, a left-handed batsman, had his last game for the Indian cricket team in the 2022 One-Day International series against Bangladesh.
He did not play in any further matches for the Indian team. He posted a video in which he thanked his followers for their continued support throughout the years.
