The security measures for External Affairs Minister Jaishankar have been heightened, with the provision of a bulletproof vehicle. This decision follows the tragic attack on April 22, where 26 tourists were killed by terrorists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. In response, India launched an operation named ‘Sindhur’ targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan. Subsequently, Pakistan retaliated by attacking civilians in villages along the Indian border.According to government sources, the Ministry of Home Affairs has increased the security measures for External Affairs Minister Jaishankar. A specialized bulletproof vehicle has been added to his security detail, and security operations around his residence in Delhi have been intensified. Minister Jaishankar already benefits from Z-category security provided by commandos from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).A team of 33 commandos has been deployed to ensure his protection around the clock. During this time, as part of the security detail, 12 armed guards have been stationed at the residence of the union minister.
