The Norwegian Classical Chess Tournament is currently taking place in Stavanger, Norway. During the initial round of this event, which features 6 participating players, world number one Magnus Carlsen of Norway competed against world champion D. Kukesh of India. In this match, Carlsen utilized the white pieces while Kukesh played with the black pieces. After a game that extended beyond 4 hours, Carlsen emerged victorious due to an error made by Kukesh on the 55th move.
