India is preparing to create history with the successful development of the Agni-6 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), which can strike targets over 10,000 km away. The missile has been designed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and officials have confirmed that it is ready for testing, pending approval from the government. The BJP, in a post on its official social media page, said Agni-6 represents India’s journey towards becoming a stronger global power with advanced defence capabilities. The Agni-6 missile is expected to feature MIRV technology (Multiple Independently Targetable Reentry Vehicles), allowing a single missile to carry and hit multiple targets at the same time. This advanced technology is currently possessed by only a few powerful nations, including the United States, Russia, and China. According to the BJP, Agni-6 will significantly strengthen India’s security and place the country among the world’s leading military powers. The missile is seen as India’s next-generation strategic weapon with the ability to enhance both national defence and global military presence.
