Indian journalists Anand R.K. and Subarna Sharma have been awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize. The award, given every year by Columbia University in memory of Joseph Pulitzer, recognizes outstanding achievements in journalism, literature, and other fields. This year, the award was announced for their contribution to a creative awareness project. They received the honor for a cartoon series titled “Drafted,” which focused on raising awareness about digital arrest scams. The project was published in a leading media platform and also involved Japanese journalist Natalie Obiko Pearson. Anand R.K., based in Mumbai, is known for his innovative artwork for organizations like the Indian Navy and private companies.
