On February 25, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and a Member of Parliament from the Congress party, engaged with a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. This delegation was headed by Ambassador Ivo H. Daalder, who serves as the CEO of the Council and is a former U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Subsequently, the delegation had a meeting with Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. Established in 1922, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs is a nonpartisan and non-profit entity committed to enhancing understanding and participation in global matters.
