Global icon Ram Charan, renowned for his role in RRR, officially commenced the promotional activities for his eagerly awaited film, Game Changer, with a spectacular pre-release event in Dallas on December 21. This occasion marked a significant milestone as it was the first pre-release event for a Telugu film to take place outside India, thus creating a historic precedent for the Telugu film industry. Joined by producer Dil Raju, Ram Charan warmly welcomed a vibrant audience of fans, engaging with them in his characteristic amiable style.
The event also featured the presence of director Shankar and producer Dil Raju, attracting considerable interest from both local fans and the media. During a meet-and-greet prior to the main event, Ram Charan expressed his delight, stating, “I am wondering if I am in Dallas or Telangana/AP. I hear people calling Dallas ‘Dallas Puram.’ Now, I can see why!” He emphasized the crucial role of the overseas audience, noting that they have the power to “make or break any film,” and earnestly requested their support for his upcoming project. Directed by Shankar, Game Changer is scheduled to debut in U.S. theaters on January 9, 2025, featuring Ram Charan in a dual role alongside a talented ensemble cast that includes Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Jayaram.
